Independent Educational Evaluations
What is an IEE?
An Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) is a comprehensive assessment completed by a qualified professional who is not employed by your child’s school district. Families may seek an IEE when they would like a second opinion regarding their child’s educational needs, learning profile, eligibility for services, or school-based evaluation results.

At Soaring Minds Evaluations and Support, I provide thorough, individualized evaluations designed to help families better understand their child’s strengths, challenges, and educational needs. IEEs may assess areas such as:

-
Learning disabilities
-
Attention and executive functioning difficulties
-
Autism spectrum concerns
-
Academic achievement
-
Cognitive functioning
-
Social-emotional and behavioral functioning
-
Classroom and school-based support needs

My evaluations include record review, interviews, standardized testing, observations when appropriate, and detailed recommendations tailored to the student’s needs. Following the evaluation, families receive a comprehensive written report that can help guide educational planning, accommodations, interventions, and support services.

I strive to provide compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based evaluations that empower families to advocate confidently for their child’s educational success.
