About me
My name is Jackie Gaither
Hi, I'm Jackie Gaither, the owner of Soaring Minds Evaluations and Support. I have extensive practice in the evaluations of preschool, school-aged children and teens. My focus is to help parents and individuals in their first steps to gaining the support they need to reach their goals for themselves and their children.
My Story
I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA, were I was born and raised. After high school, I studied at the College of Charleston where I earned a B.S. in Psychology. I then attended The Citadel where I earned a M.A. and an Ed.S in School Psychology. I have been a School Psychologist for 12 years and have served in multiple public schools in South Carolina. I have worked with students of all ages, and most enjoy working with young children and their families, helping to provide support for early intervention. ​When I am not working, I enjoy traveling with my husband and three children and exploring new places.

I decided to open my own practice because I saw the need for diagnostic evaluations, especially for the young children with Autism in the community. Earlier diagnostic evaluations lead to better access to early intervention services, which subsequently lead to better outcomes for quality of life for the whole family.
